Shocking drone images of Bradford house show horror as mum and children die in fire

Aerial images show the horror that has engulfed a home and killed a woman and three children, aged nine, five and one. The 'deliberate' house fire has been followed by a major investigation started by West Yorkshire Police.

A 29-year-old woman named Bryonie Gawith died at the scene. Her three children, nine-year-old Denisty Birtle, five-year-old Oscar Birtle and 22-month-old Aubree Birtle were taken to hospital where sadly all three died from their injuries, West Yorkshire Police has confirmed this afternoon (August 21).

A 39-year-pld man has been arrested on suspicion of murder. He was critically injured in the incident, and detectives have described it as a 'domestic-related' incident.

The tragedy has shaken neighbours in Westbury Road, Bradford, who reported hearing “screams” coming from the home as five fire engines and a dozen ambulances arrived just at the scene after 2am. Others saw smoke “billowing out of the house” and smelled “burned rubber” as the property went up in flames.

Floral tributes continue to be placed outside of the home and the street remains cordoned off by police. Neighbours on the street watched from a far as five fire engines and a dozen ambulances arrived to try and recue the family.

Drone images capture the burned out home, with profound damage around the windows suggested the building has been completely burned out.
