Shelbourne versus St Patrick's Athletic to open RTÉ's 2022 SSE Airtricity League coverage

Damien Duff's bow as a manager will open RTÉ's coverage of the new SSE Airtricity League season, as the former Republic of Ireland international's Shelbourne side are set to take on St Patrick's Athletic.

Duff was appointed to the role after Ian Morris, who had guided the Reds to the First Division title, decided to step away.

The game will take place at Tolka Park on 18 February, with a 7.45pm kick-off time.

The following weekend RTÉ cameras will be at the Ryan McBride Brandywell to see Derry City take on defending champions Shamrock Rovers.

The game will take place on 25 February, also with a 7.45pm start.
