Sheffield United and Nottingham Forest promotion task laid bare as Huddersfield hold upper hand

The race for the Premier League is hotting up as we approach the final international break of the season.

There is just under three weeks to go before the majority of the Sheffield United players and manager Paul Heckingbottom enjoy a well-earned rest after what has been a demanding fixture schedule so far.

Four postponed matches over the Christmas and New Year period meant the Blades had to squeeze in seven games in February and still have five more to play in the space of 15 days in March.

Just eight points separate third-placed Huddersfield from Coventry in 10th and there's sure to be plenty of twists and turns between now and May.

Here's a look at the fixtures of those eight teams as we compare the run to the two-week break after the weekend of March 19-20.

On paper, Huddersfield and Blackburn have the easiest run, with just one top 10 team to face in that period, while Sheffield United, Luton and Nottingham Forest all face some potentially season-defining games with three matches against sides around them.

Here are the fixtures of all clubs from third down to 10th up to the next international break.
