Sheamus shares reaction to Manchester City's Premier League title win

WWE’s biggest football fan Sheamus has shared his reaction to Manchester City pipping his beloved Liverpool to the Premier League title this weekend.

On the final day of the Premier League season, Liverpool began the day one point behind leaders and reigning champions Manchester City, with the chance of unprecedented quadruple on the line after already bagging the Carabao Cup and FA Cup.

In an afternoon full of twists and turns The Reds actually went behind to Wolves after just two minutes before Sadio Mane got them back into the game. Meanwhile, City shockingly trailed Aston Villa 2-0 with over an hour played, meaning Liverpool only need one goal to be champions.

However, in a manic five-minute spree, substitute Ilkay Gundogen inspired an unbelievable comeback, scoring two of the three goals that saw Man City run out 3-2 winners and retain their Premier League crown.

Following the defeat, WWE Superstar and massive Liverpool fan Sheamus took to social media to share his reaction to seeing his side just miss out on their second Premier League crown.
