Sharks mentor hopes charges will give their all against Leinster: 'A win will be massive'

Sharks coach Sean Everitt said a win against Irish giants Leinster in Dublin on Saturday will be a massive boost for them in their United Rugby Championship campaign.

The Sharks are still without their leading Boks, who will re-join them next week, while Leinster, who have been seriously tested in their opening three games, is expected to pick all of their star players.

Everitt is under no illusion as to what they'll be getting from Leinster, but he hopes his charges will have learnt from their two wins against Zebre and the Dragons.

"A win will be massive for us," Everitt said

"This group will be taking part in the competition without the Bok group, so it will be a great challenge to see where we are as a group.

"We've got the two results that we wanted on tour so far, so a positive result for us in Dublin would be massive.

"We're under no false illusions as to who we're playing against, but at the same time, teams have had wins against Leinster.

"We had a win against Leinster at home, but we need to improve in the areas that let us down in the two games.

"Against Zebre, our attack won the game, but our defence let us down and against the Dragons, our defence improved, but our attack wasn't functional.

"We're looking for an improved and consistent performance in all departments."
