Seven Manchester United fixtures and five Man City fixtures changed as TV games confirmed

Manchester United and Manchester City have each had several fixtures moved to accommodate TV schedules across the Premier League in April.

Following the unique winter break prompted by the World Cup taking place mid-season, matches continue to come thick and fast across several competitions for United and City as they target European success as well as domestic glory. It means there could yet be further changes.

Results in other competitions such as the Europa League and Champions League could prompt alterations, but as things stand the Premier League have confirmed which games will take place with United and City featuring heavily across the main broadcasting networks.

United were initially only meant to have six Premier League fixtures in April, but a midweek date with Brentford has been scheduled for Wednesday, April 5 at 8pm. However, that particular game will not be shown by rights holders Sky Sports, BT Sport or Amazon Prime Video.

In what appears to be a testing month on paper, Erik ten Hag and his much-improved United side will take on Newcastle, Chelsea and Tottenham.

As for Pep Guardiola and his star-studded champions, meanwhile, their most eye-catching fixtures in April are meetings with Liverpool and Arsenal. Those showdowns will both be screened by BT Sport on Saturday, April 1 (12.30pm) and Wednesday, April 26 (8pm) respectively, as well as being held at the Etihad Stadium.
