Sergio Perez sends motivated message as Red Bull unveil RB18

The Red Bull RB18 broke cover on Wednesday afternoon, though it is expected to change a lot in looks between now and the start of the season with the team opting to keep certain aspects no doubt a secret from prying rival eyes.

Even so, we got an idea of what the car that Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez will be driving will look like in 2022, and both will be eager to make a serious dent in this year’s Formula 1 world championship.

That said, it’s the Mexican’s second season with the team and he will now feel right at home, after a decent 2021 campaign where he finished in the Drivers’ standings.

Indeed, the high points for him were surely the win at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix that he secured as well as the podium finish at his home race in Mexico, but he’ll surely want more and to try and challenge his team-mate and others for more race victories.

That’ll be an interesting dynamic to the new season, then, and he appears in motivated mood ahead of 2022 as he posted on Twitter post-launch that he has been working on trying to be the best version of himself this year:
