Sergio Aguero reveals truth behind Man City exit and failed Lionel Messi reunion

Sergio Aguero has opened up about his departure from Manchester City and his subsequent move to Barcelona. The former striker has admitted that he never wanted to leave City and missed out on a chance to play alongside Lionel Messi before Aguero announced his retirement in December 2021.

Aguero believed joining the Catalan giants would allow him to play alongside close friend Lionel Messi at the Camp Nou, prior to the remarkable ciircumstances that would force Messi to sign for PSG.
