Serbia vs England live team news and match updates from Three Lions Euro 2024 opener

England get their 2024 European Championships campaign underway later today with Gareth Southgate's side set to take on Serbia in Group C.

The Three Lions, finalists in 2021, will be looking to put down an early marker in a group that contains Slovenia and Denmark, the latter beaten semi-finalists by Southgate's men three years ago in Euro 2020.

John Stones has been hit with illness this week, but is fit, while Trent Alexander-Arnold looks set to be Declan Rice's midfield partner.

Luke Shaw might even play despite missing most of the second half of Manchester United's campaign through injury with the left-back returning to fitness from a hamstring injury.

Another Foxes man, Victor Kristiansen, who has been on loan to Bologna this year is also in, as are Andreas Christensen and Kasper Schmeichel.

On the opposite side, reported United target Benjamin Sesko starts up front for Slovenia. Atletico Madrid's Jan Oblak is in goal.
