Liverpool maintained their hunt of title rivals Manchester City on Saturday.

Jurgen Klopp's side sealed a narrow victory over West Ham at Anfield to trim the gap at the top to just three points prior to the Manchester derby.

Away from Merseyside, the weekend saw a mixed bag for their clutch of players out on loan away from the club.

Here, we look at the six players who are on temporary deals at EFL clubs and see how they got over the weekend.

The full-back almost scored one of the goals of the season on Saturday as Fulham beat Blackburn Rovers 2-0 at Craven Cottage.

The Welshman, who arrived at Fulham on deadline day, almost added his name to the score-sheet in spectacular style.

Williams tried his luck from just inside the Rovers half late on in the game. After a bursting run from his own box, he looked up and clearly spotted goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski off his line.

He then unleashed a superb attempt that beat the back-pedalling Kaminski only for it to rebound agonisingly off the crossbar.
