Sekhukhune coach Tembo promises to not hold back against Pirates

Sekhukhune United coach Kaitano Tembo says his side will not hold back against a 'very good' Orlando Pirates.

Sekhukhune will welcome Pirates to the New Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Tuesday. The Buccaneers, who played to a 0-0 draw with Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday, may show signs of possible fatigue after playing such an intense match soon afterwards.

Despite this, Tembo knows his side will have to play to their full potential to have a chance of getting a result and insists they will not hold back.

"Looking at the nature of our opponent, we are playing against a very good team in Orlando Pirates," Tembo told reporters.

"We've prepared very well and the players are looking forward to the game. We need to play our attacking football because we are in need of points and we need to win games. This is our home game so we can't really hold back.

"It is important is for us to go out there and give a performance that will give us a positive result and I'm positive based on what I have seen in training."

Tembo's side have had a poor start to the season as they currently sit 15th in the DStv Premiership.

The Babina Noko mentor says he used the previous international break as an opportunity to find solutions to address his side's struggles.

"I think the preparations have been going well because we have had enough time to rest and to look at areas we need to improve as a team and things we need to continue to do well.

"We have also been given the opportunity to give time to guys who are returning from injuries to recover. The international break gave us that opportunity, but when coming off a break, you have to start again.

"Hopefully the players will be in a good mood and a good space," concluded Tembo.
