"Seems to me" - Journalist now claims £290k-p/w Man Utd star is close to leaving Old Trafford

Manchester United ace Paul Pogba could be on his way to Juventus, according to journalist Jacque Talbot.

The £49.5m-rated midfielder is out of contract this summer and he is expected to end his six year stay at Old Trafford at the end of the season.

After rejecting a switch to Manchester City, Juventus have seemingly moved into pole position to sign the France international, who’ll be a free agent once his Red Devils deal runs out next month.

According to the Telegraph, Rafaela Pimenta, one of the late Mino Raiola’s representatives, has been in Turin to discuss a potential return to the Old Lady for the midfielder.

The report says that Juventus invited Pimenta to Italy to begin discussions over a move back to Serie A, with Pogba now unlikely to stay in the Premier League, although PSG and Real Madrid are also in the running for his signature.

And Talbot reckons that with Paulo Dybala leaving Juventus this summer with his own contract running out, Massimiliano Allegri’s charges are confident of re-signing Pogba.

He told GIVEMESPORT: “PSG and Juventus have offered him similar amounts, which is quite a fair bit less than what he’s getting at United, but they’ve added on lucrative this, that and the other to bring it up.

“I don’t think he would get on living in Paris, and it seems to me that Juventus are very confident of bringing him back.”
