Second man arrested over death of Gogglebox's George Gilbey
A second man has been arrested on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter in relation to George Gilbey's death.
Mr Gilbey fell through a plastic skylight while working on a roof, sustaining serious injuries to his head and torso. He died in Shoeburyness on March 27, an earlier inquest hearing heard.
A 36-year-old suspect, from Witham, remains in custody and inquiries are ongoing. It comes after a 47-year-old man was previously arrested on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter - he was released under investigation.

A joint investigation by police and the Health and Safety Executive is ongoing. Essex senior coroner Lincoln Brookers preciously opened and then suspended an inquest into Mr Gilbey's death, pending the outcome of a criminal investigation.
Mr Gilbey was most known for his appearance on the Channel 4 series Gogglebox. He appeared on the show alongside his mother Linda McGarry and stepfather Pete McGarry, who died in 2021 at the age of 71.
The reality star also made a name for himself after reaching the final of the 14th series of Celebrity Big Brother in 2014.
