Second Bellewstown meeting off due to bad weather
The fixture scheduled to take place at Bellewstown on Sunday has been cancelled.
Lorcan Wyer, IHRB clerk of the course at Bellewstown said: "Unfortunately, following some further rain since entries on Tuesday and no significant improvement in ground conditions at Bellewstown, we have made the decision to cancel the fixture scheduled to take place on Sunday.
"It's disappointing but the team at Bellewstown are liaising with Horse Racing Ireland regarding the rescheduling of this meeting.
Saturday's flat meeting at Bellewstown was called off five days out with the entire weekend of racing going by the wayside.
A number of meetings have been cancelled due to the poor weather including at the Curragh, Downpatrick and Wexford.
