Áine Donegan qualifies for a second US Women's Open
For the second successive year, Lahinch golfer Áine Donegan has qualified for the US Women's Open.
Rounds of 68 and 67 in the qualifying rounds in Rockwall, Texas, saw Donegan claim a place in the major, which will take place from 30 May to 2 June at the Lancaster Country Club in Pennysylvania.
Leona Maguire and Stephanie Meadow will also be carrying the Irish flag at the event.
The 22-year-old Louisiana State University student is still an amateur. She played all four rounds at Pebble Beach last year, at one point occupying a place in the top 10 during the third round. Donegan eventually finished in a tie for 45th.
