Seattle Seahawks: Pete Carroll drops cryptic message on Geno Smith v Drew Lock QB battle

Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll has dropped an interesting remark when it comes to the quarterback battle between Geno Smith and Drew Lock at Lumen Field.

For the first time since the 2012 season, the Seattle Seahawks entered the preseason not knowing who their quarterback was going to be following the move to trade away Russell Wilson to the Denver Broncos, one of the many steps that indicate the Seahawks are going through a rebuilding mode right now.

With Wilson out of the picture, the Seahawks were left with two real options to choose from this preseason, league veteran Geno Smith, who has previously worked with the New York Jets, New York Giants and Los Angeles Chargers and who served as Wilson’s backup last year, or Drew Lock, the player they acquired from the Broncos in the trade for Wilson.
