Séamus Power withdraws from RSM Classic due to back injury
Séamus Power has withdrawn from the RSM Classic in Georgia because of a back injury.
The Waterford native was well off the pace after a disappointing opening round that saw Power a dozen shots of the first-round lead.
He played the first three holes of his second round on the Seaside Course, but withdrew at the fourth due to a back issue.
It brings to an end his 2024 season and Power must now wait to see if he remains the FedEx Cup Fall Series top 60, thus securing a spot in the first two signature events of the 2025 season, the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and Genesis Invitational.
