Seamus Harnedy and Cork ready to 'go to the well' again against Tipperary

Cork attacker Seamus Harnedy highlighted the serious character the side showed in overcoming Limerick in a thrilling Munster round-robin clash, but crucially added that it's "back to the well" for another must-win game against Tipperary next weekend.

After leading by eight at half-time at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh, the Rebels were eventually reeled in on the resumption, with Seamus Flanagan completing his hat-trick of green flags.

The Rebels looked down and out with four minutes to play as they fell four behind.

Despite such a desperate situation, they found the energy and courage deep down to outscore the All-Ireland champions by 1-04 to 0-01 from there.

It came down to a game-defining black-card penalty decision by referee Seán Stack in the fourth and final minute of stoppage time. Shane Kingston was hauled down by Kyle Hayes down the left, a move Stack deemed an attempt to deny a goal-scoring opportunity.

Patrick Horgan stepped up. Having scored 2-10 against Clare, he took his tally to 1-11 with a bullet to the top corner. Brian Hayes added a point to put the seal on a magnificent win for the Leesiders.
