Scottish Football Transfer News: Celtic to miss out on international star, Hearts baulk at £750k price tag, Aberdeen linked to 2 strikers, Dundee United to appoint new boss

It was a much better evening for Scotland on Tuesday as they got back to winning ways, defeating Armenia 4-1 in the Nations League.

Steve Clarke’s men came from behind to emerge victorious, helped by a first-half red card, with Stuart Armstrong grabbing a double, plus goals from John McGinn and Che Adams.

Itakura is contracted to Manchester City but spent last season on loan at Schalke 04, helping the team win promotion, impressing top-flight clubs in the process. (Sky Sports)

£750k for Hearts target

Hearts are unlikely to sign Peterborough United star Jorge Grant despite the midfielder being put on the transfer list.
