Scott McTominay tattoo shows Napoli fans' obsession as McFratm earns permanent tribute
He's the new King of Naples and the love in with Scott McTominay continues to grow daily.
The Scotland star man made the move to Napoli from Manchester United last summer and things have just skyrocketed for him in Serie A as he bids to end his debut campaign in the perfect fashion.
Joined in Italy by international colleague Billy Gilmour, the duo are on the cusp of Scudetto glory with Napoli leading Inter at the league summit by three points and just four games of the season to go.
Five goals in his last three outings have put Antonio Conte's men in the driving seat and after his double in a2-0 win over Torino last time out, he was asked to name his top nickname that he has been given.
He is known as MacGyver, the bottle opener, McTerminator and a Neapolitan favourite McFratm – a Scottish twist on the phrase for brother in the city he now runs.
And McTominay insists there is only one winner, speaking to DAZN, he said: “McFratm is the best one! Pasquale Mazzocchi would say that one."
And fans have taken it one step further by getting the moniker TATTOOED on themselves.
Yep, that's right, A Napoli supporter has paid the 28-year-old the ultimate tribute by inking his skin with 'McFratm' and the No8 - the shirt number he wears for his club side.
Imagine what is to come if he goes on to lift the Serie A crown in his debut campaign?
