Scott Hall: WWE stars pay tribute as Hall of Famer sadly passes away

The wrestling world has been left deeply saddened by the death of two-time WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall.

The 63-year-old passed away on Monday after being placed on life support following complications with a recent hip replacement operation. Hall suffered three heart attacks in a short period of time and his family ultimately made the decision to switch off the machine.

WWE confirmed the passing of The Bad Guy — also known by his ring name Razor Ramon — and paid tribute to the late legend on the most recent episode of Monday Night Raw.

Hall’s career started in 1984 and he performed with various promotion companies, including the former World Wrestling Federation and with World Championship Wrestling.

As Razor Ramon, he enjoyed several stints with WWE, the most recent lasting for eight years after he returned to the company in 2014.

Hall was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on two occasions. In 2014, he was honoured individually as Razor Ramon and then inducted for a second time under his real name as a member of the iconic New World Order — the faction he founded alongside Hulk Hogan and Kevin Nash.

Throughout the decades he performed in the ring, Hall captured the hearts of both his fellow wrestlers and adoring supporters. In the wake of the devastating news, WWE stars have taken the time to remember Hall’s career and extend their love and support to his family and friends.

Triple H left an emotional message alongside some photos over the years of the two of them, stating he had “lost a brother” and would see Hall again “down the road.”

Carmella, whose father featured in Hall’s debut WWE match, shared an image of The Bad Guy and Paul van Dale in the ring with the caption: “Special place in my heart.”
