Scotland squad announcement LIVE as Steve Clarke names his squad with Greg Taylor in for Kieran Tierney

We're on our way to Germany, but there's still a few more hurdles to overcome before we officially get there.

And Steve Clarke is set to name his Scotland side to square off with Spain, the side the Scots conquered in March to set the tone of what has been a stunning campaign to reach the Euro 2024 finals next summer. The Tartan Army are so close to the next major tournament that they can taste it, but it's not signed, sealed and delivered quite yet. A friendly with France also beckons later this month.

The Scots top the group and all signs point to automatic qualification around the corner, but will the former Kilmarnock boss use now as his opportunity to shuffle the pack? One notable absentee will be Arsenal star Kieran Tierney, who suffered another set back on the injury front for loan side Real Sociedad.

Ryan Jack is on the sidelines for Rangers, while Newcastle United star Elliot Anderson pulled out of the last squad amid bubbling fears he fancies playing for England instead.
