Scarr starts: The predicted Plymouth Argyle XI to face Burton on Saturday

Plymouth Argyle have another important fixture ahead of them when they travel to face Burton Albion on Saturday afternoon.

Argyle have won four of their last five fixtures, including a 1-0 win over Oxford United last weekend.

Steven Schumacher’s side are currently fourth in the League One standings, looking comfortable for a play-off place come the end of the season.

With that being said, we took a look at a potential XI Steven Schumacher could deploy for the fixture.

We expect Schumacher to deploy a familiar 3-5-2 formation, with Michael Cooper in goal.

In the back three, we expect mainstays James Wilson and Macauley Gillesphey to line up alongside Dan Scarr, who gets the nod due to injury to James Bolton.

Meanwhile, in the wing-back roles, Schumacher could line up with Ryan Law on the left in place of the injured Connor Grant, and Joe Edwards on the right.

In central midfield, Argyle could line up with Danny Mayor, Jordan Houghton and Panutche Camara.

Up front then, with Ryan Hardie set to miss out through injury, Schumacher could opt for a pairing of Niall Ennis and Jordon D’Andre Garrick.

Burton Albion vs Plymouth Argyle is set for a 3pm kick-off at the Pirelli Stadium on Saturday 9th April.
