Scarlets v Ospreys live updates: Kick off time, TV channel details, team news and all the build up

Scarlets welcome the Ospreys to Llanelli this evening as the United Rugby Championship gets underway with a mouthwatering Welsh derby on opening weekend.

The two teams on show at Parc y Scarlets should be vying it out to be the top Welsh side in the league this year and, really, pushing for play-offs.

They've both gone as strong as possible in this one, looking to get a fast start before they lose their Test stars to international duty at the end of October.

As such, there is a plethora of Wales internationals on display on both sides, with the Ospreys probably slight favourites for this one given the strength throughout the starting XV and the settled feel to their camp.

But Dwayne Peel's side are more than capable of getting a result and will not want to lose on home soil. Should be a cracker.

The game is live on Premier Sports but if you can't get in front of the box, then stay right here for all the latest throughout the evening.
