Will this be the final west Wales derby between the Scarlets and the Ospreys in Llanelli?
That is the question supporters of both teams will be pondering in the lead up to today's derby at Parc y Scarlets.
The Welsh Rugby Union want to cut the number of professional teams from four to three and insist there is room for only one side in west Wales.
It would be a shame if this was the final derby between both sides staged in Llanelli because there has been some absolute classics over the years.
But despite the dark political landscape of Welsh rugby both sets of coaches and players will be focused on coming out on top this evening.
Both sides have endured a difficult start to the season, with the Ospreys rooted to the bottom of the United Rugby Championship table with the Scarlets just one place above them but only on points difference.
Ospreys head coach Mark Jones has been boosted by the return of Ross Moriarty who starts at No 8 but is without Wales loosehead Gareth Thomas.
Moriarty is joined in the backrow by James Ratti and Harri Deaves with Huw Sutton and Ryan Smith at lock.
Steffan Thomas, Dewi Lake and Rhys Henry make up the front-row.
Kieran Hardy and Dan Edwards are the half-backs with Keiran Williams and Owen Watkin in midfield.
Keelan Giles, Ryan Conbeer and Jack Walsh are the back three.
The Scarlets have been dealt an injury blow with captain Josh Macleod ruled out after undergoing a HIA in the victory over Cardiff, while they are also without Blair Murray, Sam Costelow and Kemsley Mathias.
