Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez hits different at light heavyweight

Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez seems to have carried his power up to light heavyweight as he prepares to face Dmitry Bivol on May 7.

The Mexican is training in California ahead of his return to the ring at the T-Mobile Arena later this year where he is looking to put on a show in his first outing of 2022.

In a video posted by ESPN’s official Twitter account, the undisputed WBA, IBF, WBC, WBO and Ring super-middleweight champion of the world can be seen hard at work in the gym with coach Eddy Reynoso.

While he also showed off his punching power as he took out his frustration on a punching bag with a series of brutal combinations.
