Saturday sport: Clare reach All-Ireland final, South Africa beat Ireland

England have progressed to the semi finals of Euro 2024 after a penalty shootout win over Switzerland. Bukayo Saka scored with their only shot on target to drag the game to extra time.

Trent Alexander Arnold scored the final penalty as Gareth Southgate's men won 5-3 on spot kicks. Meanwhile, Netherlands are taking on Turkey with that one just underway in Berlin.

Clare have reached the All Ireland Hurling Final for the first time since 2013.

The Banner just edged Kilkenny in the semi final by 0-24 to 2-16 at Croke Park after a brilliant fightback in the second half.

It was a first Championship win for Clare over the Cats since 1997.

They will play whoever emerges from the game between Limerick and Cork tomorrow.
