Sasha Banks tries 'disgusting' TikTok food trend in hilarious video

Sasha Banks has branded a TikTok food trend ‘disgusting’ as she appeared on a popular YouTube food series. 

The current WWE Women’s Champion was a guest on YouTube series First We Feast’s Snacked, where she detailed some the favourite things she likes to snack on. Banks chomped down on such delights as hot sauce on rice and lemon pepper wings, but there was one delicacy that didn’t go down well with The Boss. 

She was tasked with trying a food craze that went viral on social media after music star Lizzo tried it last year, but the bizarre mix of mustard on lemon was not to Sasha’s taste. Posting a clip on Twitter, Banks looked stunned at the idea and called the combination ‘disgusting’.

Despite being disgusted by the strange food craze, Banks did reveal her own interesting food combination during the video, by choosing as one of her snacks the pairing of mezcal with crickets. 

I know, I know. You’re saying, ‘What?’ Yes. Crickets are so good for you. And in Mexico, it’s just a known tradition to have your mezcal with crickets.

At WrestleMania 38 earlier this month Sasha finally won her first match on the grandest stage of them all, when she captured the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships alongside partner Naomi – Banks’ third reign with the straps.

Since their win in Dallas, ‘Boss and Glow’ have successfully defended their titles against Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley – a defeat that saw Ripley turn on her partner – and now look to be entering a programme with Natalya and Shayna Baszler.
