Saracens v Cardiff Live: Latest score updates from European Challenge Cup clash

Cardiff welcome back Josh Navidi as they head their European Challenge Cup last-16 tie with Saracens at the StoneX Stadium this afternoon (1pm).

The Wales and Lions player leads the side from openside flanker as Dai Young’s team look to arrest a bumpy recent run of form that has seen them win just one of their last six matches in all competitions.

Director of rugby Young has responded to last week’s 49-14 home hammering by the Scarlets by making 11 changes. No one can say life is predictable at the Arms Park these days, with Cardiff having made 10 changes last weekend.

Young will hope Navidi can stiffen Cardiff’s resolve after their shambolic effort against the Scarlets which saw the west Walians run up 49 unanswered points. Saracens field a line-up that contains Owen Farrell, Maro Itoje, Sean Maitland, Aled Davies, Alex Goode and Ben Earl, with the Vunipola brothers, Mako and Billy, on the bench.

The Welsh side will want to restore some pride, but an away game against Saracens is a tough test by any standard.
