Samsung's £49 Smart Watch is 'great value for money' and rivals Apple and FitBit
Investing in your health is one of the best things you can do at any age, and a smart watch is an excellent way of doing that. Whether you're looking to monitor your vital signs more accurately, see exactly how well you're sleeping or track your workouts, most smart watches can do all of these and more.
While the likes of an Apple Watch or a Garmin can set you back hundreds of pounds, there's no need to spend quite so much as Samsung has recently brought out a budget watch that shares many similar features with the big dogs. Dubbed the Galaxy Fit3, this slim fitness band likely has all the health-related features you could ever want - and it's down to under £50 at Amazon right now.
Samsung recently released this smart watch in September 2024 for an MSRP of £59, but a recent Amazon sale has knocked an additional £10 off that to bring it down to £49 for a limited time. Additionally, students can get an additional 5% off, and all purchases qualify for a free 60 day Audible subscription worth £15.98.
For such a cheap smart watch (compared to competitors), Samsung has managed to cram a fair amount of tech into the gadget, not least of which is the impressive 1.6" display. It features a more rectangular shape compared to its Galaxy Watch line of fitness trackers, but this allows it to have a slimmer, more incognito profile on the wrist.
The device is touch screen with a single button on the side for accessing menus, and its crystal clear display makes reading data super easy even in bright direct sunlight. The whole thing is made of sandblasted aluminium for a sturdy design that's waterproof up to five metres - ideal for swimming.
In terms of health tracking features, it's got the lot. Sleep insights track how long you sleep
