Samsung gives early look at Galaxy S24 phone as Sky, O2, and Amazon slash £100s off S23 model

It's that time of the year when Samsung get ready to unveil its newest 'S' range of smartphones and eager shoppers are just days away from seeing the upcoming S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra that will hit UK stores later this year. Amid the rumoured updates, prices, and availability of the new sets not all eyes are focused on the upcoming new launches.

Retailers Sky Mobile, O2, Amazon, and even Samsung have launched huge discounts on the soon-to-be outdated S23 range, with savings as much as £199 cut off the price. Both O2 and Sky Mobile are offering their shoppers a free pair of Galaxy Buds 2 (worth £99) plus £100 cashback when they add the standard S23 handset to the basket.

Samsung is offering intrigued shoppers £150 off the smaller S23 for anyone who uses the hidden code SAVE2024. Amazon has found a way to cut the price of the bigger Galaxy S23 Ultra with its £150 price cut on the model, one of the cheapest prices we've spotted on the flagship phone.

The wave of price drops shows that the lead-up to the global S24 launch proves to be one of the best times to get your hands on the near predecessor model. In fact, Amazon's £1,249 S23 Ultra price is the lowest its been since Black Friday.

Despite the iminent launch of the S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra Samsung's current flagship S23 range will still continue to be a top recommend phone. The S23 sets all have five years guaranteed Android updates, so despite different looks to the newer S24 range you will be able to update the software.
