Sam Fender announces huge UK tour including date at Manchester's Co-op Live

Sam Fender has announced an UK and Ireland arena tour for this December. It marks his first tour since Spring 2022.

The seven-date run begins in Dublin in six weeks on December 2 at the 3Arena, concluding on 20 December at the Utilita Arena back in Newcastle. The tour also calls in Leeds, Manchester, London, Birmingham, and Glasgow.

Fans who pre-order the soon-to-be announced third studio album from the singer's website will receive pre-sale access on Tuesday, 22 October from 10am, plus a Co-op and O2 presale on Wednesday, 23 October. General sale will take place at 10am on Friday, 25 October via Ticketmaster here.

On Wednesday, Sam Fender fans were sent into pandemonium after the Co-Op Live teased a Manchester date. An image of the singer was projected onto the side of the venue with Fender's website hinting at more information to come with a cryptic countdown clock.

The photo of Fender was tweeted without a caption but instead the eyes emoji by the Co-Op Live on X, formerly known as Twitter on Wednesday afternoon (October 16). Many excited fans took the comment sections of the post on X, with one fan saying: "Do us a favour and wait till I’ve been paid."

The singer-songwriter will play Manchester's Co-op Live on Friday, December 6. His show at London's 02 on December 10 will signal his first performance in the capital since headlining Finsbury Park back in the summer of 2022.

Since those dates, Sam has headlined Reading & Leeds Festival in 2023, and Boardmasters earlier this summer. Next spring, Sam headlines European shows in Paris, Tilburg, Zurich, Cologne, Munich, Bergamo, Berlin, and wrapping
