SAFA dangles R9.2 million carrot for Banyana if they win Africa Women Cup of Nations
South African Football Association (SAFA) president Danny Jordaan said they'll shell out R9.2 million should Banyana Banyana win the Africa Women Cup of Nations (Awcon).
Jordaan made the announcement at a short send-off press conference in Parktown on Tuesday.

Jordaan did not want to address the matter at Monday's squad announcement but said they needed to do so before they departed for Morocco.
Head coach Desiree Ellis' group that had their final training session in Linksfield, Johannesburg on Tuesday morning leave for Morocco on Tuesday night.
Their opening game will be against Nigeria, and should Banyana reach the semi-finals, they'll qualify for the 2023 Women's World Cup.
Should they finish fourth, each player will get R30 000, and third will see them get R40 000. Second place will come with R55 000 with the massive carrot of winning the tournament seeing the players get a whopping R400 000.
