Sadio Mane told why he can’t perform Liverpool U-turn and must join Bayern Munich by current boss

Sadio Mane will “feel the best” at Bayern Munich and has been told why he must push to leave Liverpool this summer by Senegal boss, Aliou Cisse.

The Reds ace, 30, has reportedly made it known he is seeking a new challenge this summer. Mane has been everything Liverpool fans could’ve hoped for and more. Indeed, if his Anfield tenure does conclude at the six-year mark, he has already cemented his place as a modern-day Liverpool great.

The Reds appear to have moved swiftly to sign a suitable replacement in the forward line.

A move for Benfica’s Darwin Nunez is in its final stages. The Uruguayan underwent his medical today (Monday) and Benfica have already confirmed the move in an official statement.

Nunez’s arrival will soften the blow of losing Mane. The Reds reportedly want £42.5m for his signature, though primary contender Bayern Munich have tried Liverpool’s patience with their opening offers.

Indeed, they have seen two bids rejected with the second totalling just £30m. What reportedly angered the Reds was the fact around £9m of the value was related to scarcely attainable add-ons.

Regardless, Bayern are poised to table a third bid and Mane’s boss at international level, Aliou Cisse, has implored his star man to leave Merseyside as soon as possible.

His reasoning stems from his desire for Senegal to have a strong showing at the Qatar World Cup.
