Sabrina Carpenter fans ‘can’t cope’ as mysterious image projected on UK venues

Sabrina Carpenter fans have been sharing their excitement online after a series of visual clues were left on venues across the country - indicating a tour announcement is imminent.

The American singer has had a breakout year so far with her two hits Espresso and Please Please Please dominating the singles charts worldwide. On Wednesday night (July 17), a number of identical images - a red lipstick print on top of a pink background - were projected onto venues across the UK.

The images were seen on the exteriors of venues including The O2 in London, the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, 3Arena in Dublin, and Co-op Live here in Manchester. It's a similar stunt that the likes of Take That have done previously in anticipation of a full announcement.

Alongside photos of the projections, each of the venues posted an identical message on social media: “I have a fun idea babe…tomorrow at 4pm BST.” The post indicates more details will be revealed today.

Another wrote: "omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg, just a lil excited." One other simply wrote: "STOP IT RIGHT NOW."

Earlier this year, the singer, who is dating Saltburn actor Barry Keoghan, announced her Short n' Sweet tour across America with dates scheduled between September and November. Sabrina last performed in Manchester in June last year at the Apollo as part of her Emails I Can’t Send tour.
