Rylan Clark's 'sad' update flooded with messages as he's seen with mum Linda

Rylan Clark has delighted fans as he took to social media with a string of holiday snaps. The BBC Radio 2 star revealed he recently headed off on a much-needed break in the sunshine - and he wasn't alone.

Rylan was joined by his mum Linda, who fans have fallen in love with thanks to her Celebrity Gogglebox appearances and Radio 2 phone calls with her son. They were also joined by friends on the trip to Marbella, Spain, which seemingly didn't end in horror for poor Linda - and Rylan - like their last holiday did.

Fans of the radio and TV star may recall that last year, he suddenly had to take a break from work before it was revealed that Linda had undergone surgery after "quite a bad fall" whilst on holiday in Spain with Rylan. She was said to have broken her arm and her leg in the incident during her first holiday abroad in years.

Rylan paid for a medical private jet to bring Linda, who also has Crohn's disease, back home to the UK last September where she worked on making a full recovery.

A year on and Rylan looked delighted to be back abroad with Linda as he shared a string of photos and videos from their trip, which included a gorgeous photo of the pair posing together by the beach as the sun set and pictures of them living it up in the city.

Captioning the post, Rylan wrote to his million of followers: "The best holiday. Sad to be home but amazing memories." He also wrote in the comments section: "Scroll along to see Linda loving life."

And fans were loving the update and quickly responded to the post. @laura_rusbridge_celebrant said: "I love how you love your Mum." @jomowiki commented: "I just love your
