Ruth Langsford stuns fans with 'younger' appearance as she claps back after 'fancy' salon trip

Ruth Langsford has continued to stun fans with her 'younger' appearance as she headed to a 'fancy' salon for her latest hair update. Earlier this month (August), the Loose Women star showed fans her 'real' hair before undergoing a bit of a makeover.

Ruth had headed to the Leo Bancroft Salon in Weybridge and the broadcaster could be seen sitting in the hot seat as her stylist Lauren Houghton tended to her locks with the help of Leo himself.

The 64-year-old showed her 'real' hair after explaining previously that her hair has thinned as a result of the menopause and therefore uses extensions to help add volume to her mousey blonde locks. But this time she decided to keep a bit more length on her locks than usual.

Now, just a couple of weeks on and Ruth was back in the hot seat, this time at a different salon and this time having her colour topped up. She again shared a video documenting her trip to see colourist Josh Wood at his Claridge's Hotel spot.

Captioning the video, Ruth wrote to her 1.1 million followers: "HIGHLIGHTS TIME! @joshwood salon in Notting Hill is being refurbished so I went to see him at his salon in @claridgeshotel Very fancy!!"

She added: "Thank you Josh, Dylan @cheyenne.bleux & @cherylmunozhair for a lovely experience and for all the lols! Feeling lighter & brighter! #highlights #blonde #hair."

But while compliments did quickly flood in, some of Ruth's followers weren't as kind. One said: "You are so lucky. Most people could not afford that," but Ruth clapped back: "Not luck….I’ve worked hard for everything I have."
