Ruth Langsford defended by fans after being struck by unkind comments over modelling appearance

Ruth Langsford has been defended and flooded with compliments by her fans after some rather unkind comments made their way onto her latest social media post. The presenter hasn't recently been fronting Loose Women on ITV but she has been busy elsewhere.

Some may not know that Ruth is a regular face on QVC as she has her own fashion collection. In her latest Instagram video, the 64-year-old was seen showing off some of her latest items as she strutted around in a different coloured blazer and pair of trousers as the various transitions from outfit to outfit went on.

"At last I’m allowed to show you what my @qvcuk TSV is!" Ruth declared as she started the caption of her post to her 1.1 million followers. She continued: "This gorgeous double-breasted jacket (very on trend this spring/summer) I also have matching wide leg trousers if you fancy wearing it as a suit!
