Russell Wilson: 'Poser' Broncos QB slammed by NFL Network analyst

Russell Wilson has come in for some staunch criticism from NFL broadcaster Kyle Brandt following his performance for the Denver Broncos last night. 

The Denver Broncos certainly gave up a lot in order to trade for Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson this past offseason, sending quarterback Drew Lock, tight end Noah Fant, defensive lineman Shelby Harris, two first-round picks, two second-round picks and a 2022 fifth-round pick to the Pacific Northwest in order to secure his services. 

It might seem like a lot on the surface, but with the organisation having struggled to find their franchise quarterback since the departure of Peyton Manning at the end of the 2015 season, and with a group of very talented young weapons on offense such as Courtland Sutton and Jerry Jeudy, they obviously felt like they needed someone to take them to the next level.

However after the first few weeks of the season, things have certainly not been as rosy as might have been expected from someone like Wilson, as the Broncos currently sit at 2-3, with the Broncos as an organisation looking somewhat messy behind the scenes and head coach Nathaniel Hackett having to make changes to his coaching staff already. 

And things went from bad to worse for Wilson last night as they lost at home to the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday Night Football, with Wilson coming in for questioning following a decision he made on the final play of the game not to throw to receiver K.J Hamler:
