Russell Wilson: ESPN analyst claims new deal has 'risk' attached to it for the Denver Broncos

ESPN analyst Domonique Foxworth has expressed a little bit of concern when it comes to the Denver Broncos handing a new contract to quarterback Russell Wilson.

The Denver Broncos certainly gave up a lot in order to trade for Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson this past offseason, sending quarterback Drew Lock, tight end Noah Fant, defensive lineman Shelby Harris, two first-round picks, two second-round picks and a 2022 fifth-round pick to the Pacific Northwest in order to secure his services.

It might seem like a lot on the surface, but with the organisation having struggled to find their franchise quarterback since the departure of Peyton Manning at the end of the 2015 season, and with a group of very talented young weapons on offense such as Courtland Sutton and Jerry Jeudy, they obviously felt like they needed someone to take them to the next level.
