Ruben Amorim claims he has improved Manchester United in five areas as he questions Antony
Ruben Amorim believes Manchester United have become a quicker side and more adept at pressing since he took over last month.
Amorim took charge of United for the first time at Ipswich Town on November 24 and they have won four, lost three and drawn one under the Portuguese.
United were ejected from the League Cup in a frenetic 4-3 loss at Tottenham on Thursday night but enjoyed positive spells of possession and came from 3-0 down to within a goal of levelling the tie.

"I think we are improving near the opponent's box," Amorim noted. "We had some games where we're near the box without threat. You could see different things today.
"You can see that we can shoot. We're near the goal and you can feel it. I think it's a good thing in our team. I feel that our team is faster and pressing more, the physicality is improving, the understanding of the game and you can see it by the control of the game.
"You see it more in this game but also the last game. We understand the positions and the movements we should do. We're out, let's focus on the other competition."
Antony made only his third start of the season at Spurs yet failed to effect the game. His solitary goal this term remains a penalty against League One Barnsley in the third round of the League Cup.
Amorim has started Antony as a winger and as one of the two playmakers in his 3-4-3 formation but it appears increasingly likely that United will offload the Brazilian next year.
