Ruben Amorim's appointment at Manchester United was the 'tipping point' for Dan Ashworth, according to a bombshell report.

The former sporting director - who has sensationally departed Old Trafford after just five months in the hot seat - is said to have felt sidelined from the big decisions at the club from the very off and the decision to go with the Sporting Lisbon boss as the man to replace Erik ten Hag over a British candidate like former England gaffer Gareth Southgate proved the final straw say talkSPORT.
