RTÉ to provide record coverage of Paralympics

RTÉ has announced a record line-up of coverage for the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris from 28 August- 8 September.

Broadcasting live across all 12 days of the Games, RTÉ will provide its most exhaustive coverage of the Paralympics, with 104 hours on RTÉ2, as well as an unprecedented amount of RTÉ Player exclusive content.

RTÉ Player will be offering over 500 hours of live action available to watch over four digital channels, ensuring Irish audiences can experience all the action and success of Team Ireland as it happens.Supporters can follow all the activity live from Paris daily across RTÉ2, RTÉ Radio 1 and RTÉ News, 2FM, RTÉ Player and on RTÉ.ie.The action will kick off in Paris with a reimagined opening ceremony, with live commentary from John Kenny and former Para-swimmer James Scully.

As part of RTÉ's extensive coverage of the Games, RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player will follow the 35-strong Team Ireland, bringing viewers the latest information every morning with live feeds during Paris Paralympics 2024: Matin.

Daráine Mulvihill will present live from Paris in the afternoon for Paris Paralympics 2024: Apres-midi and Evanne Ní Chuilinn will share evening highlights and analysis from Dublin with Paris Paralympics 2024: Soir.
