RTÉ to broadcast coverage of Ireland in action at Nations Cup of Britain

Ireland are in action at the Nations Cup of Britain on Friday and the second round of the five-star show will be broadcast live on the RTÉ News Channel and on the RTÉ Player.

The coverage from Hickstead begins at 3.55pm, with the Ireland squad comprising of of Shane Breen and Cuick Star Cervec, Jack Ryan and BBS McGregor, Daniel Coyle and Gizbourne VDL, Mark McAuley and GRS Lady Amaro, and Trevor Breen and Gonzalo.

Meanwhile, the documentary series Horse Country is back on RTÉ screens ahead of the Dublin Horse Show next month.

The series tells the stories of people and their horses who make up the Irish Sport Horse world.

Set in the Covid summer of 2021, when many events were cancelled and those which did take place were attended only by the competitors and their close connections, it showcases the competitive passion in the sport.

Horse Country will be broadcast on RTÉ2 over the coming weeks in the lead-up to the Dublin Horse Show.
