RTÉ Soccer Podcast: Champions League final, next Ireland squad and LOI review

Former Ireland striker Stephen Elliott, ex-Dundalk league winner Gary Rogers and The Independent's chief football writer Miguel Delaney join Raf Diallo and James McMahon on the RTÉ Soccer Podcast.

After reacting to the Premier League's final day and Manchester City's title triumph, from the 29:40 minutes mark the podcast previews the Champions League final between Liverpool and Real Madrid which will be live on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player on Saturday, as well as the fallout from Kylian Mbappe's bumper deal to stay at Paris Saint-Germain.

With an Ireland squad set to be named imminently for the Nations League games in June, Elliott and Rogers (45:50) run the rule over potential selections and how Stephen Kenny will utilise the 18-day window between the four fixtures which will also be live on RTÉ.

They also discuss domestic matters in depth (56:09) including the issue of match fixing as well as a topsy turvy double round of fixtures in the SSE Airtricity League which saw Shelbourne and Dundalk maintaining their recent good runs, Shamrock Rovers beaten by Drogheda United and Derry City foiled by a Sligo Rovers searching for a new manager.
