RTÉ GAA Podcast: McStay and Fitzmaurice preview Kerry-Galway All-Irleand SFC final

It's a battle of the Blue Bloods as Kerry face Galway in an All-Ireland final for the first time in 22 years.

Eamonn Fitzmaurice was centre-back for Kerry that day (and the replay) and he joins Mikey Stafford, Rory O'Neill and Kevin McStay to preview this year's final.

Will Kerry settle easier because of their previous final experience or have Galway become a hardened team after their difficult route to the final?

The two best attacks in the championship meet in the decider, so caginess is to be expected early on. Kevin believes the side who make the better decisions when the game opens up will prevail.

David Clifford is fit and firing by all accounts so Galway will have to plan accordingly, with Éamonn wondering if the Fossa man could be used in an almost decoy role, as he employed James O'Donoghue in 2014?

At the other end, the strength and goal-scoring prowess of Damien Comer will test Kerry's thus far miserly defence.

The kick-out strategies at both ends will be very interesting to watch, with Kerry thus far being afforded the chance to go short and Galway happier to play the long game.
