RTÉ GAA podcast: Club final preview and Galway re-build

Anthony Daly joined Mikey Stafford, Rory O'Neill and Conor Neville to look ahead of the next round of Allianz Hurling League action, the All-Ireland club hurling final and to ponder the majesty of winter hurling.

The panel assess the televised heavyweight clash of Limerick and Galway in the LIT Gaelic Grounds, with John Kiely's side seeking to bounce back from their reversal in week one and Galway getting a further indicator of their standing in year one of Henry Shefflin's regime.

The All-Ireland club hurling final - "by three miles, the biggest game of the weekend" - throws in on Saturday, with the in-form Ballygunner seeking to become the first Waterford club to claim the crown, while Ballyhale Shamrocks, after a couple of scares en route, seek to complete a historic three-in-a-row.

In the wake of a throwback scoreline in Wexford Park (1-11 to 0-11), Daly recalls the glories of winter hurling back in his own playing days, with the squelchy pitches and three games before Christmas.
