RTÉ confirm quartet of LOI clashes to be screened live

RTÉ's first live SSE Airtricity Men's Premier Division of the season will be Shamrock Rovers' opening-night collision with Dundalk at Tallaght Stadium.

The Hoops start their title defence - and quest to win five in a row - against Stephen O'Donnell's Lilywhites.

It's one of four top-flight games to be shown live in February and March, while a further yet-to-be-confirmed fixture will be screened on Friday 5 April.

On Friday 1 March last season's runners-up Derry City host FAI Cup winners St Pat's at the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium.

Newly-promoted Galway United then welcome Stephen Bradley’s Hoops to Eamonn Deacy Park on 15 March, while the Dublin derby between Shamrock Rovers and Bohemians will be broadcast on RTÉ2 on Friday 29 March.
