Royal Ascot racing results LIVE plus day five tips and best bets

It’s been a long week but here at the Daily Record we’ve been keeping you in the loop at Royal Ascot without a top hat or morning suit in sight.

The Wokingham (5:00pm) is one of the biggest betting handicaps of the year and Fresh has been a well supported favourite over the last few weeks. He will be partnered by the in-form Danny Tudhope.

It's been a mixed Ascot for Frankie Dettori and the Italian's best hope of a winner looks to be aboard Honiotn in the Golden Gates Stakes.

The final race is the Queen Alexandra Stakes – the longest race of the Flat racing calendar – held over 2m6f and if Trueshan turns up – he’s likely to be a strong favourite having missed his engagement in the Gold Cup.
