Royal Ascot LIVE horse racing results and tips from day one

We’re live with you for the first of five brilliant days of horse racing at Royal Ascot and a top hat and morning suit are not necessary.

Baaeed is the star name to open up the day in the Queen Anne Stakes. That Group 1 is our opener scheduled for 2:30pm and the bookies cannot see him getting beat but there's no such thing as a certainty on four legs.

The feature race is the St James's Palace Stakes at 4:20pm. This will see 2,000 Guineas winner Coroebus in action against a stellar field.

Fans of sprint races are well served with the King's Stand Stakes for the elder horses and the Coventry Stakes testing out the cream of Europe's juvenile talent.

The Met Office are predicting that we will have a sunny day with a temperature of 23 degrees...

That will be nice weather for everyone - particularly as we are due to be around 29 degrees on Friday!
